Insa Rejects Revised Shipping Laws 28th Dec 2010

Satjipto W. Johnson, Chairman of Indonesian National Ship-owners' Association (INSA), said one proposal is to revise the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation. "Revision is not the only option. There are other ways that can be done so that the ships can be accommodated in group C," he told Business Yesterday. He said clearly, many other ways the government can do to ensure the ship be able to operate in group C. To achieve the target of lifting the oil, without having to violate the principle of sabotage. Chairman of Liquid Transport Sector Board INSA Widihardja Tanudjaja said his organization since the beginning rejected the proposed revision of the Shipping Law.
